We have been told by several Buyers that they specifically want to live in Kitchener because Waterloo has a by-law against backyard fires. Having a fire in your backyard is definitely a fun and calming experience. Roger and I live in the Uptown Waterloo neighbourhood, but just a couple of blocks across the border in Kitchener, and I will say that having a fire in the back yard is something that we have always loved doing. I love the idea that a local farm has made it easy for everyone (especially folks living in Waterloo) to have an outdoor campfire experience. Snyder’s Family Farm is located in Bright, Ontario, which is only about 30 minutes from K-W. The beauty is, they not only have the space for a campfire, but also have a menu for their customers to order everything they need to make s’mores. There are lots of other options on their menu.
